Badges, regions and the road to champion — reconstructed from the pack’s advancement and trainer data
COBBLEVERSE turns survival Minecraft into a full Pokémon league challenge. The moment you join, the pack's root advancement — COBBLEVERSE: Press C to Start! — asks you to choose your first Pokémon and begin your adventure. From there the loop is simple: train under your current level cap, hunt down the next key trainer, earn the badge, and watch the cap rise. Keep a Trainer Card in your inventory — wild trainers only spawn naturally around players carrying one.
Four regions are playable, each as its own RCT trainer series with its own gym circuit, Elite Four, Champion and legendary postgame: Kanto (active by default, difficulty 7/10), then the add-on regions Johto (8/10), Hoenn (8/10) and Sinnoh (9/10). Key trainers must be beaten in strict order — each gym leader only starts spawning once you have defeated the previous one — and every victory is tracked by an advancement, so your advancement screen doubles as a quest log.
Beyond the league lines, the Mega Showdown mod ships its own advancement tree covering Mega Evolution and bond content (34 advancements under its own tab). For full gym leader teams and spawn locations see Trainers; for where to catch everything, see the Pokédex.
COBBLEVERSE uses Radical Cobblemon Trainers (RCT) to pace your journey. Your Pokémon stop gaining experience at the level cap (over-leveling is disabled in the pack config), and the cap climbs only as you defeat the key trainers of your active series.
initialLevelCap = 20 is a floor that never binds in Kanto.relativeLevelCap = 5. In Kanto that means roughly: Brock 25, Misty 30, Lt. Surge 40, Erika 45, Koga 55, Sabrina 60, Blaine 65, Giovanni 75, then the Elite Four at 80/85/90/95 and a full cap of 100 for the Champion.spawningRequiresTrainerCard = true — no card in your inventory, no wild trainers.maxLevelDiff = 10 keeps naturally spawning trainers within roughly ten levels of your team (key trainers are exempt).Kanto is where every player starts: the COBBLEVERSE-DP-v31 datapack ships active in the datapacks folder, and the RCT config places new players in the Kanto series (difficulty 7/10) automatically. The Gen 1: Kanto advancement — "Embark on a journey through the region where it all began" — opens the tree.
The eight gym leaders roam specific overworld biomes and must be beaten in order. Once Giovanni falls, the Elite Four and Champion Blue spawn in the End dimension — bring an End-ready team. The Legendary Birds and the Mew/Mewtwo questline round out the postgame.

Johto is an optional add-on: its datapack ships at datapacks/extra/COBBLEVERSE-Johto-DP.zip and is not active until you move the zip into the profile's datapacks folder (game closed, then relaunch — see World & Regions for the exact steps). It adds the Gen 2: Johto advancement line — "Discover ancient wonders and the legacies of its past" — and the Johto trainer series (difficulty 8/10), which you activate at a Trainer Association clerk.

Hoenn is an optional add-on: move datapacks/extra/COBBLEVERSE-Hoenn-DP.zip into the profile's datapacks folder (game closed, then relaunch — see World & Regions for the exact steps) to activate it, then start the Hoenn series (difficulty 8/10) at a Trainer Association clerk. The Gen 3: Hoenn advancement line invites you to "explore new vibrant lands and confront the raw power of nature".
Unlike the first two regions, the Hoenn Elite Four and Champion Rocco spawn in Steppe biomes in the overworld. The postgame is the pack's weather-trio spectacle: Kyogre, Groudon and Mega Rayquaza atop the Sky Pillar, plus the Regi golems, the Eon duo, Jirachi and Deoxys.

Sinnoh is the hardest and most content-dense region: move datapacks/extra/COBBLEVERSE-Sinnoh-DP.zip into the profile's datapacks folder (game closed, then relaunch — see World & Regions for the exact steps) to activate it, then start the Sinnoh series (difficulty 9/10) at a Trainer Association clerk. The Gen 4: Sinnoh line asks you to "seek the ancient myths of time and space".
Sinnoh runs two storylines in parallel: the eight-badge gym circuit (League in Desert Oasis biomes), and the Team Galactic questline — Commanders Mars, Jupiter and Saturn each guard a Lake Proof, and defeating Cyrus wins the Red Chain. Both roads converge on the creation trio and, ultimately, Arceus at the Temple of Sinnoh. The Sinnoh postgame also continues the Regi saga begun in Hoenn and ends with Manaphy, Shaymin and more.
